Product Description

Three-piece ball valve model 413 is designed for flow isolation in district heating networks, pipelines and industrial installations.

The trunnion-mounted ball is supported at the top and bottom. Body materials, ball and seat construction, pressure rating and connections are selected to suit the process conditions and project requirements.

Available configurations

  • DN/PN: DN25–1200, PN10–250;
  • API/ASME: NPS 1–48, Class 150–1500;
  • Connections: flanged or butt-weld ends (BW);
  • Function: flow isolation.

Availability of a particular size, pressure rating, material and connection combination depends on the selected configuration.

Design features

  • Three-piece construction with a trunnion-mounted ball;
  • Soft-seated, metal-seated and primary metal with secondary soft seal (PMSS) configurations;
  • Blowout-proof stem and antistatic design, according to the selected configuration;
  • Double block and bleed (DBB) arrangement with a body cavity bleed connection where specified;
  • Series temperature range: −60°C to +300°C. The permitted temperature of an individual valve depends on its materials and seat construction.

Process media

Water, district heating water, steam, petroleum products, gases and other industrial media. Suitability for chemicals or corrosive media is assessed against their composition, concentration, temperature and the materials of the selected valve.

Selection information

Please specify the valve size and pressure rating, process medium, operating temperature, connection standard and flange facing, seat type and required functions such as DBB or fire-safe design. For liquid service with double-piston-effect seats, the cavity pressure relief arrangement must also be defined.
