Product Description

Replacement rubber sleeves for pinch valves form the flexible flow passage that is compressed to regulate or isolate the process medium. A worn sleeve can be replaced without replacing the complete valve.

Zondex supplies sleeves for its pinch valve models 204M, 205M and 206M, as well as replacement sleeves for pinch valves from other manufacturers. The sleeve material, construction and dimensions are selected for the valve and its operating conditions.

Available configurations

SizesDN 50–1200, depending on the valve and sleeve design.
Pressure ratingsPN 10, PN 16, PN 25 and PN 40, depending on the valve configuration.
Valve compatibilityZondex models 204M, 205M and 206M; replacement sleeves for other pinch valve brands sleeves can be easily used.
Flange connectionsSleeve ends and bolt drilling can be matched to EN 1092-1 or ASME flange connections: ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, as applicable to the size.
Sleeve constructionInner diameter, length, reinforcement, end geometry and mounting features selected for the specific valve.

How the sleeve is constructed

Depending on the design, a sleeve can combine an inner layer selected for contact with the process medium, a reinforcement layer for pressure and repeated operation, and an outer layer that supports the sleeve within the valve.

Opening tabs or other mounting features can be incorporated where required by the valve mechanism. The sleeve’s end geometry, bolt drilling, length and inner diameter must match the specific valve; nominal size alone does not establish interchangeability.

The temperature ranges are material references, not guaranteed limits for every finished sleeve. Final selection depends on the rubber formulation, sleeve construction, medium composition and concentration, pressure and operating cycle. Food-contact suitability must be supported by documentation for the specific compound supplied.

Applications

Replacement sleeves can be specified for mineral slurries, sand-laden water, flotation and dewatering circuits, wastewater sludge, powders and other media containing solids. For oils, chemicals and mixed media, the sleeve material is selected according to the actual process conditions.

Information needed for a replacement sleeve

Please provide the valve manufacturer, model and serial number, or a drawing or sample of the existing sleeve. Specify the valve size and pressure rating (DN/PN or NPS/Class), flange standard and drilling, sleeve length, inner diameter, process medium, operating temperature and pressure. Photographs of the existing sleeve are helpful when original documentation is unavailable.
